Set-up and onboarding.

13.01.01How do I create an account?

Head to our onboarding page and follow the guided setup. You can be up and running in under ten minutes with your menu, devices, and payment processing configured.

13.01.02What hardware do I need?
+

At minimum, an iPad (9th gen or newer) or any modern Android tablet. For a full setup we recommend a receipt printer and a card reader — all available in the hardware store.

13.01.03How long is the free trial?

Every new account includes a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card required to start.

13.01.04Can I import my existing menu?

Yes. Upload a CSV or connect directly with common POS platforms. The onboarding wizard walks you through it.

13.02 / Payments

Cards, payouts, fees.

13.02.01What payment methods are supported?

All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and EFTPOS through our integrated processing.

13.02.02How do payouts work?
+

Funds from card payments are deposited into your nominated bank account automatically. Standard payout timing is T+2 business days.

13.02.03What are the processing fees?
+

Card processing is 1.4% + 30c per transaction for domestic cards. International and AMEX rates may differ. Full details are on your billing dashboard.

13.02.04Can I issue refunds?

Yes. Full or partial refunds directly from the POS terminal or the web dashboard. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.

13.03 / Hardware

Devices, printers, kiosks.

13.03.01What devices are compatible?

Fly runs on iPads (9th gen+), Android tablets (Android 8+), and any modern browser for the web dashboard. Kitchen displays work on any screen with a browser.

13.03.02Do you sell hardware?

Yes. We offer curated hardware bundles including tablets, receipt printers, cash drawers, and card readers. All pre-configured and shipped Australia-wide.

13.03.03How do I connect a receipt printer?

Go to Settings → Hardware in your dashboard, select your printer model, and follow the pairing instructions. Bluetooth, USB, and network printers are all supported.

13.03.04Can I use my existing iPad?
+

Absolutely. Any iPad running iPadOS 16 or later is fully supported. Just download the Fly app from the App Store and sign in.

13.04 / Account & Billing

Plans, team, invoices.

13.04.01How do I change my plan?
+

Settings → Billing in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle.

13.04.02Can I cancel anytime?
+

Yes. No lock-in contracts. Cancel from your billing settings and you keep access until the end of your current paid period.

13.04.03How do I add team members?
+

Settings → Team. Enter their email and assign a role. They get an invitation instantly.

13.04.04Where are my invoices?
+

All invoices are under Settings → Billing → Invoice History. PDF invoices are downloadable any time.
