The deal

Fly is fully remote across Australian timezones. We ship fast, communicate asynchronously by default, and stay close to the venues that run our software. If you care about craft and like talking to operators, you'll fit in.

The same people who write the code answer the phone when something breaks. That keeps everyone honest about what actually matters.

Whether or not we’re hiring, these are the traits we hire on.

Operator instinct.

You’ve worked a till, run a shift, or built something for someone who has. You know what 6pm-rush feels like.

Owns the outcome.

You finish what you start. If a customer is stuck, you don’t hand it off — you carry it until it’s solved.

Writes well.

Most of our communication is text. Clear writing is clear thinking.

Likes the craft.

You sweat the details — the kerning, the empty state, the error message. The thing that makes the product feel real.
